Pancake & Syrup is a mom and son project that centers around a love of storytelling and singing silly songs. This project came about to encourage creativity, writing, coding, and goal setting in our household. We want these fun stories to revolve around important themes for children, such as learning about empathy, kindness, confidence, inclusion, and technology. Plus pancakes have always been a common theme for us. Definitely our favorite go to item for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

One of my favorite books as a child was Hitchety Hatchety Up I Go. Every time I went to the public library I took out this book. As an adult for the longest time, I couldn’t remember the name of the book until one day it hit me! I found the book so that I could share it with my kids ~ Who doesn’t love a stack of "golden brown pancakes with creamy, melted butter on top and maple syrup oozing all down the sides"!

We are busy working away on the stories so that our end result is a published book (or two :)).
